For a while now Nick has been climbing on things. As he gets taller he's reaching higher and higher ground. Before he would just push stuff his books up to the coffee table and use them as a step up...now he can do it on his own. Of course before telling him no and not letting him do it anymore, I had to take a picture...

Happy Mother's Day to me/us Part 2
A few weeks ago Eddie, Nick, and I were at OSH buying some tape for my new plant and I saw a gorgeous patio set. I pointed it out to Eddie and we both sat in it and it was quite comfy. I gave Eddie my pout lip because I wanted it so bad but he still told me no. A little background...currently we have a patio set that was handed down to us by a friend from the Coast Guard. Fast forward to last Friday...I got home from getting my hair cut and I couldn't find either of the boys in my life. I walked around the house looking for them and looked into our bonus room and there were a ton of boxes. IT WAS MY PATIO SET!!! I then figured they were across the street because I had the car seat. Eddie had left Nick with our neighbors across the street and went and bought me my patio set for my second Mother's Day gift. What a guy!!! Of course he will get just as much use out of it as I will. I can't wait to have people over!

Happy Mother's Day to me
I've had my eye on a Petunia Pickle Bottom diaper bag for a few months now. I want a cute stylish diaper bag that is big enough to include all the contents of my purse as well as all the stuff I have to haul around for Nick. I've been trying to convince Eddie that this is the diaper bag for me and he has kept telling me no. Finally he said that I could go look at one in person and see if it was big enough. Well...a few weekends ago we went to the Asparagus Festival and what do I see hanging off a stroller...a Petunia Pickle Bottom diaper bag pack. I point it out to Eddie and he decided that it was big enough and I could have it for Mother's Day. I ordered it that night from a website and about 5 days later got an email stating that they were sold out and the pattern I wanted had been discontinued. I immediately starting searching the web for another site. I ordered from another company but never received a confirmation email. I called them yesterday inquiring about my order and the gentleman who answered stated "it's already shipped". Woo Hoo...I was officially excited! I was trying not to get my hopes up just in case they were out as well. Today I went to lunch with my mom and dad and when I got home sitting on my front porch was my new diaper bag. I'm in LOVE!! This bag is gorgeous!! I told Eddie we have to go somewhere this afternoon just so I can use it!
Thank you honey!

Mama may I have some "more" please
As I mentioned previously Nick has started using sign language. I was finally able to catch it on film tonight at dinner.

Words can't describe what you're about to see
Let me preface by saying this next pic is from the museum where we were getting "cultured" (is that a word). None of us quite know how we got anything more than a few chuckles out of this pic. Nick sure seemed to like it though. Hmmmmm I think I'm going to have my hands full in a few short years.

Nick & Faith
Eddie, Nick & I went with our friend's Katie and Faith to the Oakland museum. I like to claim Faith as my future daughter-in-law even though she has many suitors...none quite as cute as my little man though! You have to admit that Faith Brady sounds wonderful. Nick enjoyed looking at the art and running around the museum. We did get in trouble once when Nick pushed his stroller into a wall. I also noticed a man following us from room to room. It was as if he was checking up on us. At lunch Nick was trying to feed Faith his honeydew along with trying to touch her with his slimy fruit hands. Thank goodness Katie brought her camera!
