My little man..

OK so Amanda did her posts. Now it's my turn. We had to get Nick some clothes that were a little warmer for the cooler nights, and well, it was time. So here is Nick doing a fashion show.

Not liking this shirt. Neither did we, we returned it because it was too kiddish for our little man.

In this next picture from the 80's collection he has on a set of brown cords. Yes, the 80's look is back. But I think only little kids can pull corduroy off.

Same shirt but with some jeans on and a little camera love.

Final outfit, the LA trendy look. If you look his shoes match the outfit. In case you didn't know Nick is a shoe whore just like Amanda but since he's a little man, I tell him he's a sneaker pimp.

If you look back to the earlier posts of LA you'll see him in some red sweats and shirt that was his final outfit. I didn't include it because it would have been a repeat picture.

Mini vacation

Last week we went down to L.A. to visit Eddie's family. Eddie's dad lives down in Torrance. His cousin recently had a baby so it made for a good excuse to take a mini vacation. We decided to fly this time instead of sitting in a car with Nick for 7 + hours. The flight there was delayed 45 min which made for a very interesting time at the airport. Not the easiest place to entertain a 16 month old. The minute we got on the plane he was hysterical. He screamed until the middle of take off when he fell asleep. Nick got to play with Grandpa Ed and also play on the rocking horse that was his daddy's a long time ago as well. I do think though that his favorite "toy" at grandpa's house was the "i robot". After about 15 minutes Nick had the power button figured out and could get it to vacuum on his own. We went to the 90210 beach house beach and visited with old friends. The flight back was much better. Nick only cried for about a minute and then discovered all the "fun" things to play with on a plane. The tray, window shades, light buttons, and of course the guy's newspaper sitting next to us. He also discovered people movers at the airport. He absolutely LOVED them!

A much needed update...

Sorry it's been so long but life has been a bit busy and I just haven't had the time to sit and update.

Nick did get his first real hair cut recently... Eddie first shaved his head at about 9 months old and then again when he was 11.5 months old. This time we opted for a "real haircut".

He has turned into quite a little man, especially with his new haircut! We were impressed on how fast the stylist was done. It can't be easy cutting the hair of little kids and their wiggle worm ways.
