Sadly we have moved on from the highchair. Nick has been fighting his high chair for quite a few weeks now. Some meals are easier than others. The past week he has been screaming and trying to climb into our chairs. We finally just set him in our chair and he ate his full meal. That day I went out and bought a booster. I still have the highchair in the kitchen because I'm still "trying". I'm just not ready to leave the highchair stage and enter the world of boosters. Every day now when I ask him if he's ready to eat, he runs to the chair pats the booster and starts making his way up the chair. Now many of you might not know that our chairs are bar height. Nick pulls the chair out and also pulls out the chair next to it. Maneuvers his legs around so that he pushes himself up the chair with the other chair.

The hardest thing is probably to make out when to set limits to a child's explorations and when it 's just time to move on to a next stage.
Obviously he wants to sit at the table like you guys and be big.
Later when he is bigger he will want to sit in that high chair again or use it to reach things.
You are doing just fine
Love you all
