My big boy

Well our almost 20 month old son has been transitioned to a big boy bed. We were at Levitz last week looking at beds when Nick climbed into every bed and went to the pillow and laid his head down and said "nigh nigh". We've been talking about transitioning him but this let us know that he was ready. Eddie's dad brought his old furniture up on Monday when Uncle Favian and Auntie Eva came to visit. We set it up in Nick's room and that night he wanted to go "nigh nigh" in there. We waited until Wednesday to try it out...

This is our first nap in our big boy bed...

We returned the original bedding we bought (Hawaiian) and bought him a Cars themed bed set. Here's his new room...

Bob the Builder

Grandpa Ed bought Nicholas a Bob the Builder lego set last year for Christmas. We decided to start letting him play with it since he likes putting things together and taking them apart. He looks so grown up playing with his big boy toys...he has also developed a very cheesy grin for pictures...

Fun with Nick

Picture perfect

Eddie and Nick like to build with the blocks. Actually it's more of Eddie building and Nick destroying. The other day Eddie built Nick a frame and taught him how to be "picture perfect"!

Cheese

Nicholas is almost always smiling...exept when the camera comes out. I've been working on getting him to say "cheese" for the camera...

Sorry I've been slacking...

The Saturday before Halloween my mom and I took Nick to Brentwood's Hometown Halloween. Basically a bunch of business' set up booths and hand out candy. There is an absolutely insane amount of people there and it was nuts! Nick had his first "pop pop" (lollipop) and had a tummy ache the next day.
The funniest thing of the evening was the "hot dog"
On actual Halloween, Eddie brought Nick to the office to trick-or-treat and to the neighbors houses. We put him in his costume and sat on the front porch and let him hand out candy until it was time for bed. He didn't want to go to bed and kept saying "trick or treat" while we were rocking...
